Expert Experts sponsors Asia Pacific Institute of Experts
Expert Experts is proud to be a sponsor of the Asia Pacific Institute of Experts (APIEx) and supports it's work to improve the standard of expert opinion evidence and awareness of the important contribution of expert opinion evidence to the administration of justice.

To quote the President of APIEx, Prof Leslie Chew SC
"…APIEx is a Singapore-based registered society which aims to spearhead the development of professional expertise in the field of Expert evidence both locally and in the Asia Pacific region. A core mission of the society is to develop and provide a framework for the accreditation of Experts to meet international standards. This mission will be achieved through education, training and collaboration in local and regional conferences and workshops in the Asia Pacific region.
APIEx will provide an avenue for practicing Experts and those who aspire to become accredited practicing Experts, to develop their expertise and to connect with other Experts and consumers of expert evidence…"
Expert Experts was introduced to APIEx in 2024 by one of our experts, Mr Geoff Green, and we immediately saw the importance of its objectives and work.
We look forward to working closely with APIEx in the years ahead and recommend that all expert witnesses find out more about the society and the services and assistance it provides.
Expert Experts will be represented at the APIEx Symposium & Workshop 2025: Technology, the Expert & the Law (19-20 Nov 2025)
Technology is now the driver for all human activity. The emerging and pervasive technological species of AI requires humans to understand it well enough to use it effectively and wisely. The pervasiveness of AI will no doubt also make its presence and effect felt in the work of professional experts who assist courts and tribunals with their specialised knowledge. It is therefore timely that we have this year’s APIEx symposium dealing with the impact of technology including AI on the work of professional experts.
The Keynote Address by our distinguished guest speaker, Professor Simon Chesterman will address "The Tragedy of AI Governance". This will be followed by sessions where both experts and lawyers discuss issues relating to the impact of technology including AI on dispute resolution and the work of expert witnesses. The Symposium will conclude with a session which will discuss and undertake a comparative jurisdictional survey on the use of Generative AI in court proceedings.
