ID11008 is an experienced materials scientist / engineer with a BSc in Materials Science and a PhD in Ceramic Engineering.
He has 30 years experience in Australia and internationally in the design, development, testing and analysis of materials used in industrial environments, with an emphasis on forensic analysis of production, installation and in-service failures.
He is a highly skilled expert witness and has prepared numerous reports and attended conclaves for both insurance and legal firms in a number of cases involving building, construction and refractory materials in Australia and internationally.

ID11008 has worked at one of the largest international steel and producers in the world, developing new materials and processes for production of engineering ceramics and refractories for Internal use within the companies and for external clients.
He has spent over a decade in the Materials Engineering Division of an Australian science and research organisation gaining the level of level Principle Research Scientist and Group leader. Work included developing processes for mobilisation of nuclear and hazardous wastes, in ceramic, glass and geopolymer cement waste forms.
ID11008 is currently the Director of a materials consultancy assisting clients with materials related problems, resulting from incorrect choice of material, material quality issues, changes in the operating process and incorrect operation of P&E. He provides independent advice regarding material selection, performing comparative tests on candidate materials, site inspections and forensic failure analysis.
ID11008 has worked as an expert witness preparing reports and attending conclaves for both insurance and legal firms in a number of cases involving building, construction and refractory materials in Australia and internationally.
