ID1429 boasts a comprehensive understanding of all civil engineering and construction design process matters, having worked on major projects for over 30 years across Australia, Canada, Germany and the United Kingdom. Such projects involved power stations, bridges, tunnels, dams and high rise buildings, among others.
He previously worked as a Senior Lecturer in Engineering Construction and Management, then later as an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow for more than two decades.
Further to his academic achievements, ID1429 created and directed the world’s first commercial construction robotics company in the United Kingdom, and developed Australia’s first hydraulic excavator training simulator. He also conceived and developed a world-first acoustic emission-based tunnel operations analyser, which was implemented in Japan, Germany and Australia.
He is very experienced at providing expert opinion to legal investigations, having prepared and presented evidence in the District, Supreme and Coroner’s Courts of NSW and the ACT. He has also participated in mediation and arbitration processes across multiple Australian jurisdictions.
ID1429 has also served as the President of the International Association for Robotics and Automation in Construction and has been awarded by the International Association for Trenchless Technology, the Japan Acoustic Society and the Australian Federation of Construction Contractors.
