A plaintiff brought claims of medical negligence against his GP, alleging that the failure of the doctor to exercise due care in his treatment led to his cardiac arrest and hypoxic brain damage. Five expert GPs presented expert opinion.

Swindale v Babic [No 2] [2007] WASCA 262

The respondent was injured in a motor vehicle accident which was caused by the negligent driving of the appellant, who denied that the accident was the cause of the respondent’s injuries. A GP presented expert evidence.
